　　大年初一，我和爸爸、妈妈去姥姥家给姥姥、姥爷拜年，路上走了三个多小时，终于到姥姥家了。

　　On the first day of the new year, my father and mother and I went to grandma's house to pay New Year's greetings to grandma and grandpa. After more than three hours of walking, we finally arrived at Grandma's house.

　　到姥姥家后，二舅一家人也随后回来了，姥爷家有很多鞭炮，我和二舅家的小妹妹拿了一些鞭炮来放。

　　When we got to grandma's house, the second uncle's family also came back. There were many firecrackers in Grandpa's house. My little sister and I took some firecrackers to set them off.

　　刚开始我不敢放鞭炮，我看见小妹妹“叭”的一声放响一个鞭炮，心想：“我绝对不能害怕，要不小妹妹会说我没胆量。”于是我鼓足勇气，把鞭炮插到墙缝里，用香头点着鞭炮，向后跑五米，只听见“叭”的.一声，鞭炮放响了，接着又点着一个鞭炮，这回向后跑一米，又一声清脆地响声，回荡在空中。

　　At first, I dare not set off firecrackers. I saw my little sister "bang" a firecracker, thinking, "I must not be afraid, or my little sister will say I have no courage." So I plucked up my courage, ed the firecrackers into the cracks of the wall, lit the firecrackers with incense head, ran five meters backward, only heard the sound of "bang", the firecrackers went off, then lit a firecracker, this time ran one meter backward, and a clear sound reverberated in the air.
