讲文明礼貌，树道德风范中英文演讲稿
尊敬的各位老师，亲爱的同学们：大家，早上好！
Dear teachers and lovely classmates. Good Morning!
今天我们国旗下讲话的题目是《讲文明礼貌，树道德风范》。
Today's topicfor the flag ceremony is "Civilization and Politeness: Developing MoralConduct."
古人云“不学礼，无以立”。讲礼貌是我们做人的基本准则。儿时在家，父母用自己的言行启蒙我们文明有礼；进入枫叶学校，老师言传身教，我们文明礼貌；到社会上，时时处处都要求人们讲礼貌。文明礼貌不仅给自己带来快乐，给他人带来愉悦，而且能创造和谐社会。反之，不讲礼貌、没有道德，也很有可能带来灾祸。
It's been said, "Without Learning Etiquette, there is no place for man." Being polite is a basic rule of life. When we're at home, our parents
taught us to be civilized and courteous with their words and deeds; when we entered Maple Leaf School, our teachers showed us we are civilized and polite. When we enter society, we are required to be polite from time to time. Civilization and politeness not only bring happiness to oneself and others, but also create a harmonious society. On the other hand, badmanners and morality are also likely to bring about disaster.
2018年10月28日10时许，重庆市万州区一大巴车在万州长江二桥桥面与小轿车发生碰撞后，大巴车坠入江中。 10月31日凌晨0时50分，潜水人员将车载行车记录仪及SD卡打捞出水后，公安机关多次模拟试验，对SD卡数据成功恢复，提取到事发前车辆内部监控视频。
At about 10:00 on October 28, 2018, a bus crashed into the Yangtze River after colliding with a car on the deck of the Second Yangtze River Bridge in Wanzhou, Chongqing. At 0.50 a.m. on October 31, after divers salvaged the vehicle, traveling recorder, and SD card, the public security officers successfully restored the SD card data and extracted the internal monitoring video of the vehicle before the accident.
视频里女乘客要求司机靠边停车，司机坚决不停并用车子会坠江来吓唬女乘客，于是两个人从唇枪舌战上升到了大打出手，最终整辆车，带着十五条人命，坠入长江。
In the video, the female passenger asked the driver topull over. The driver insisted that the driver would not stop and frighten thefemale passenger with the car falling into the river. So they went from lip-to-lipfighting to fighting. Finally, the whole car, with fifteen lives, fell into theYangtze River.
悲剧令我们所有人痛心，也给我们敲响警钟。如果时光能够倒流，如果女乘客礼貌地和司机说明情况，耐心等待下一站下车，如果司机礼貌地点头应允，我想这样一个简单的礼貌方式是不是就极有可能避免这场悲剧！
Tragedy causes all of us to grieve and it sounds off an alarm in us. If time can only be reversed. If the female passenger could only politely
explain the situation to the driver, while patiently waiting for the next stop to get off. If the driver could only politely nods his head. I think such simple polite actions would very likely help avoid this tragedy!
一个人的思想、行为，对别人、对社会是有益还是有害，(www.fwsir.com)要有一个衡量的准则，我们通常把这种衡量和指导人们思想、行为的准则，叫做道德。礼貌与道德是互为表里的，礼貌是道德的外衣，道德是礼貌的内涵。我们要认清哪些是应该做的，哪些是不应该做的，以此来规范我们的行为，时时处处讲礼貌，展现我们的道德修养。
Whether a person's thoughts and actions are beneficial or harmful to others and society requires a criterion of measurement. We usually call this
criterion that measures and guides people's thoughts and actions morality. Politeness and morality come hand in hand. Politeness is the cloak around morality, and morality is the connotation behind politeness. We should recognize what should be done and what should not be done in order to
regulate our behavior. Always be polite and show our moral conducts.
我们枫叶学子非常讲礼貌，做错事情说“对不起”，这展现的是我们勇于承担的道德风范；见到同学、老师、客人主动打招呼“你好”“您好”，这展现的是我们尊重他人的道德风范；别人表达感谢，我们微笑着摆摆手“别客气”，这展现的是我们谦和慷慨的道德风范......我们更有责任和义务把讲礼貌的好习惯展示给国人、展示给世界，共创文明中国、文明世界！
Our Maple Leaf students are very polite , say "I'm sorry" when they do something wrong, which demonstrates their courageous moral demeanor; when we meet classmates, teachers and guests, we greet them with "Hello" and "Hi", which demonstrates our moral character and respect for others; when others express their thanks, we smile and wave our hands while saying "farewell". We know to say "you're welcome," which shows our modest and generous moral character... We have a great responsibility and obligation to show our good courteous habits to the people of China and to the world to create a civilized China and a civilized world!
