Lesson 13 Why Are Plant Important?

教学目标：

Make the students know：

1 .Why do we need plants？

2 .Why are the plants important？

3. Plants feed all animals .

The students should be able to：

1 Understand the importance of plants .

2 Write something about the importance and use of plants .

词汇：shade energy sunlight predator feed (v.)

句型：Why do sb.(sth.) need ……？

教学设计：

1 向学生问候，复习前面学过的关于天气、学习等常用语句；复习前面学过的关于植物的内容。

2 说明本课内容：植物的重要作用，为什么我们需要植物，植物能为我们带来什么。

3介绍本课词汇和句型以及它们的用法。

4 带领学生朗读单词与课文。

5 通过对话练习来巩固本课内容。

6 请同学说出植物的重要作用，为什么我们需要植物以及植物能为我们带来什么，或者到前面来板书。

7 指导学生阅读“读物”，做“活动手册”上的练习题。

8 布置作业：背诵和抄写生词，熟读课文，用所学单词和句型说明植物的重要作用，为什么我们需要植物以及植物能为我们带来什么，完成练习题。
